Sure...but my point was that treating vintage vehicles badly in the movies encourages their mistreatment and loss.

...I note also that while one plot line in 'That 70s Show' was Kelso winning his bus another was Eric destroying it by forgetting to put the hand brake on and letting it roll down a cliff.

Someone needs to make a movie where VW buses and Vanagons save the day!!!

the hero should arrive in a nick of time to save the world...kind of like the Batmobile on slower!

I've been working on screenplays for years and struggling to bootstrap a production budget...maybe there's enough support in the vintage VW community to get something like that made!
