I've got an all black interior DC that is white outside, & live in the high desert(SLC) & no AC! No problem! The dark interior, if shielded from the sun shouldn't get any hotter than a lighter interior-the exterior, however is a different deal?

As a design professional(LOL), differing colors in front & rear would not be preferable in my opinion(which means nada).
