It is not necessary to kick your side windows to get them out.

1) Take two screwdrivers 2) Lift the seal from the inside using the two screwdrivers to lift the inside lip 3) Put enough gentile pressure to keep the seal up 4) Have someone outside to catch the window

If your kicking techniqe goes wrong send me an e-mail I have about a set and a half of side windows in my basement (all types westy, passenger van, and rear exit vent type)
