Hi all, Yesterday I helped a friend put new heads on his '80 AUTO luftboxer. When we were buttoning it all up, we found that at some point, the spring that goes on the throttle linkage for the trans kickdown had parted ways with the vehicle. There isn't a VW dealer w/i 200 miles, and Ron's search engine comes up empty, so... Is anyone parting an auto trans Vanagon? We need the about 100 mm long compression spring that goes on the end of the throttle control rod after it passes through the barrel at the at the lever on the throttle body. ETKA says 010 321 333a Chris? TIA. Jim |
