Only 15K miles old, it really shouldn't be bad. It may be that it's simply not closing all the way and the cable that operates it needs adjustment. As for the metal ball valve, that's pretty easy, if you decide you want that. two 5/8" hose barb fittings screwed into either end of the valve, a couple hose clamps, and you have all you need. -- John Bange '90 Vanagon - "Geldsauger" |
