In the town I live in (Regina, Saskatchewan Canada) there are lots of intersections with only two lanes. The question then becomes do I use the left lane and risk waiting for the entire light for someone ahead of me to turn left or do I use the right lane and risk holding up someone behind me that is in a rush to turn right. I'm selfish so I use the right lane if I see someone ahead with their left turn signal on. The other time this question comes up is when I want to turn right into a parking lot soon after the intersection. YMMV George, '85 Westfalia |
