Hi John Isneglas is usually in this day and age used in High end Boat top enclosures and Convertible rear window. Yes it is Plastic, but it is top of the line zero distortion, Double Press Polish Clear that is buffed to a perfect clarity. It is sold in many different standard sizes most common being 24x54 inch and 54x111 inches. Sold in Drums with plastic sheet to prevent scratching and on the large sheets retails for about 120.00 per sheet with a 3 sheet min. smaller sheets usually sold 25 at a time are at about 24.00 per sheet. Most common mistake is that Roll clear plastic is called isenglass when in fact it is standard roll plastic and a fair amount of distortion. True Isenglass is like looking through glass where as roll plastic is like looking through cling wrap. But roll plastic is about 8.00 per yard to 15.00 per yard pending thickness. Isenglass also is the same as clear to sea, and others. Hope this helps. BTW it is used in convertible tops with soft rear windows and Jeep tops mainly for automotive. c-ya Jonce
