And George is very right, it really does "depend on the situation and terrain". My aggravation level goes up when there is light traffic and many lanes available, the situation yesterday that prompted me to write about the DADs I met. Prudent drivers that know where they are going and plan ahead may well chose the right lane and stay in it until the driveway they need arrives. That is very reasonable, in fact good safe driving, avoiding sudden lane changes, especially when traffic is heavy. What I'm really talking about is driving habits that take no consideration of the congestion and delays they contribute to because they don't consider their influence on the overall traffic flow. I've another pet peeve on this subject, but that will wait until another Friday.....
