I like that it has a big shade. Shades like that should be mandatory on all camp lanterns. There are few things I hate more than being stuck in a crowded campground surrounded by a bunch of yahoos who think the only way to operate a propane lantern is to crank it up as high as possible and light the whole place up like daylight.
