And of course, it is important to remember that the federal gvt required the speedometer to be at least 3% fast during these years. My van is about 6% off. I tested it with a GPS. Indicated speed is 60, actual speed is 56. So a bit bigger tire would correct some of that error. Not a reason to change but a nice side benefit if I wanted to. I read all that I could when I needed tires. I kept the 14 inch, but did increase the width and height a bit. Looks nicer, that was the only reason.
