Anyone wanting to see a photo of the much discussed Auto Stop variant of the Westy propane tank, here you go. This Ebay auction includes one and has a photo of just the tank you can look at. The AS valve version has the small circular pipe that attaches high on the right end of the tank, connecting down to the fill valve body. If your tank has that small curved tube, you have an Auto Stop valve. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200012455345 I have nothing to do with the auction. The interior looks pretty beat up and the fridge looks like one from an earlier than 85 year, judging by the green meter inside that idicates flame lit. Also the Westy led panel does not have the pilot led that most of us are used to having, instead having 4 leds for water level, 2 lower red ones. When the very bottom red led is lit, the sink pump is diabled by a power transistor in the led panel. 80-81 had this configuration, with a 182A rather than a 182B Dometic. Mark |
