RE: Handheld GPS odometers Here is a challenge/test for all out there that use a handheld GPS mounted in their car. And also for those with systems intended for use in vehicles. Next time you are taking off to run errands around town, or going to work and back, turn on the GPS, switch to the screen with the odometer display and zero it out. Let it run until you get back home. Now record what the total distance is. Which units show near zero distance, which show actual distance traveled?
