I have used just that thing in my 2.1 in the past. Works well. wiring is pretty obvious for the tach. +, ground, and *I think* the one that goes to the coil is labeled "1" since that is terminal 1 on the coil. Mine didn't have the bulbs or bulb holders for the indicator lights.
