That may be true if you've bought under 100 of them.

Times change and we need to change with them. Stating because you bought D cells for "X" number of years contains no logical link for continuing to do so. Solar panels off-set their negative environmental impact quite quickly the more they are utilized ... this is not true of the disposable 'D' cell.

That's the point damnit! Re-read my initial email! I've admitted to the fact that I own and adore an environmentally challenged vehicle and I just want us to try to do something to counter-act that fact!!!!! Buying 8 D cells to cool ourselves for 24 hours and then throwing them in a land-fill is irresponsible, lazy, unimaginative and environmentally harmful ... it doesn't help anyone, including you!

>It didn't go without notice that you used the diminutive of my name >as an attempt at an insult. But what more would we expect?

What? Someone on this list attempting to insult another? I'm shocked! Truly shocked. How could people treat each other so? With the heightened sensitivities that you posses and the careful manner with which you engage in discourse with others it must have been truly shocking and upsetting.

Hoping you recover soon ...

Your friend,

Bobby Elliott

Have you noticed that shallow is the new deep.
