Well,

I have stocked up on D cells from Wally World and I am ready for my annual 2-3 week road trip.

We will be decompressing for 3 days at Manning park (really is a jewel, easy to get away from the rest of the campers by hiking more than 1 hour) then off to more isolated sites...

maybe a few days on the plateau lakes between Princeton and Merritt, then skipping NW to the Chilcotin, maybe even as far as last year, Nemiah Valley.

This year the van will look more than ever liek the Beverly Hillbillies truck as my son insists that we bring bikes as well as the canoe, so look out for white van with green canoe on top and 3 mtn bikes on back hatch (travelling slowly).

Cheers,

Alistair
