Subject: LP tank valve? problems...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi all,

I've got a low mile 1987 vanagon Westfalia Camper GL (automatic) and recently I've noticed that I can't seem to get gas to the two-burner stove. We don't use it much, usually for very light cooking or more likely to make coffee in the morning while camping. I believe the LP tank is nearly full (but I don't know how to be certain of that) and we last filled it about 3-4 years ago and haven't hardly used it. Is there a diagnostic write-up somewhere on how to logically track down the problem? Could the valve assembly at the tank be the culprit? I thought I saw a story in the LiMBO newsletter "the Transporter" a few years back on this - can't find it now of course! Are there replacement valves or rebuild parts and a "do-it-yourself" procedure write-up available anywhere to finallyn fix my non-working stove? I need a camping caffine fix!

Thanks for any help or guidance! Hope to see a bunch of you Vanagon nuts at "Buses Nowhere Near The Arch" (B.N.N.T.A.) in about a month from now...
