Ken, I had a starter in and out of my van 4 times as the rebuilders repeatedly failed to diagnose the slow cranking problem as a bushing. If you have access to the equipment, a check of current draw at the battery during starting will show abnormally high draw. Mine was something like 600 amps. That's likely why the ground wire is hot. |
