There are as few three different fan wiring schemes used in the 86's. Locate
the resister and check it with the ohm meter first. Then also check the
fuses and the fan relay. There may be a low speed relay like the 87's have.
If the resister is a single barrel type, you have the later set up. If it is
a two barrel resister, you have a n earlier set up with the small fan motor.

I know this topic is redundant to most folks but I wanna get things right...
I did the wire jumper test tonite and low and behold one speed did not work
which I believe was the low speed. (middle terminal did not do anything)
If this is indeed the low speed which is not working then my next step is
the resistor ballast right? It is an 86 with factory AC. Are there any
tests I should be doing before running off and buying the resistor ballast?
