Subject: motion detector tiny flashlight (LVC)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

I saw this ad today and thought this might be handy in some application for Westy camping. I've never seen this tiny motion detector flashlight thing before... http://snipurl.com/ut8s

If you look here you can read the back of the package for details: http://images.tigerdirect.com/SkuImages/gallery/large/GEN-5507-y.JPG

Says it recommends alkaline batts, and they will last 6 months in "normal" use. I'm sure we could adapt it to the Westy power system with a reducer to get the required 6v supply power.

But what would be a good use for it? stick it on the outside of the van with a magnet so when you walk up to it at night it turns on? Inside dark cabinets so it comes on automatically when you go hunting for something? I don't think I'll be buying these until they end up at the $1 store...

Edward
