Subject: Temp Sensor Leak
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Just replaced the cooling hose that goes over the transmission on my '87 GL with auto, thinking that it was leaking. It might have been, but after replacing it I noticed the temp sensor directly below it had a steady drip, too.

I took out the sensor, and replaced the o-ring. Still drips. Would replacing the sensor be the right thing to do at this point, or should I be looking at something else? I noticed the sensor had a small scratch on it...maybe that's the problem?

Tried the archive today (and will continue to do so), but I couldn't get it to search for me. Any insight the list could lend would be appreciated!

Mark Baker '87 GL Wasserleaker
