Subject:      Power doorlocks again

Hello,


I have an '88 GL with misbehaving power doorlocks.
I have rewired the drivers door locks previously when it was discovered that the wires had fatugued and broken (common problem). However all was fine after making that repair years ago.


Now, the system will lock all doors if I use the driver's door - but if I unlock the passenger side door, the system goes crazy and trys to relock it. It will not stop until I close the door, and the button goes down. (e.g. it does not seem to recognise the unlock command from the passenger door.)


I'm guessing this is another broken wire problem - but my question is do you think it is in the passenger or driver's side door?
