A couple of years back I replaced the speedo on my 88 GL. I also went to a Michelin XCA 205/75-R14 tire. On all subsequent speed /distance checks the speedo is, as the little girl said - "Dead-on balls accurate!" . I can't say much for the gas mileage though., at the moment. There are some O2 sensor issues that have not been addressed yet and I have the thing disconnected to allow smooth running, otherwise, it bucks, snorts, and kicks a good bit - and its a brand new O2 sensor. I'll get to it eventually.

Regards,

John Rodgers 88 GL Driver
