The operative word here is "re-d0". The only thing that will STOP the rust from re-appearing is either Krown (.com) or RustCheck. so go ahead a "re-do" your seams, but if you do not soaka the seams (from the back side) with Krown or RustCheck, you will have to "re-do" your seams every few years till their is no seam left. this is my opinion and experience with my vans.
