Subject: Info/Tips on Moving a Westy Across Country
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

I haven't posted to the list in a good while now. I found out about a month ago that i'm moving to the San Fran Bay Area from here in Denver. After a ton of thinking and consideration, i can't leave my westy behind - it must come with me......and i'm VERY excited to say that.

my family and i have 2 vehicles, including the westy. my job will be paying for me to ship one of them, and i figured that the westy was the best candidate. I'm extremely skeptical about sending my westy off w/ somebody else on a truck, but it has to be done. SO, i would love to hear about anybody who has done this:

How was your experience? What company do you recommend? What company do you not recommend?

any additional info would be very much appreciated - thanks! dusty.
