I had this before.  Looked everywhere for a nail.  Put soapy water on to find the leak and could not.  Went back to the tire place, and they took the tire off, put sealant around the entire rim, remounted the tire.

  Problem fixed.

  So yes, I agree with Dennis, in the absence of a nail in the tire, this is a very likely culprit.

Hi everyone,
I have a slow leak in one of my tires. It took a week for the pressure
to drop from 38 lbs to 24 lbs. The tire is not very worn and I haven't
found any punctures. I put soapy water around the valve stem and didn't
find any bubbles forming. Any suggestions on possible approaches for
this situation?
