Hey Vanagoneers, what is going on? Fryedaye Follies the last few weeks have been a bust, and my favorite "open market under the trees" today absolutely bombed. Vendor count was down by a third, and people weren't buying from those that were there. Really a strange feeling. Am I seeing/sensing something I don't want to know about? Are we - America - sliding into a "pulling in the horns" mode. With gas prices, the war in Iraq. the Israel/Hezbollah/Lebonon conflict, the terrorist plot in Brittain, Iran and it's plans for an A-bomb, etc, there is reason enough, but is it really happening? Are we geting a mind set for a recession? Or heaven help us - a depression?

What say you 'O Vanagoneers?
