Whew, I was hoping that was the case. Now i just need to deal with the darn fuel injector bolt that sheared off. I went out and got an extractor kit and a 90 degree kit for my drill so I could pull that thing out. Drilled a hole and then put in the screw piece that supposedly will back the screw out.....and that sheared off too! Im thinking I may have to have it towed to the local shop to have them get it out.

Got all the fuel lines done except fot those that are on that drivers side fuel rail. Interesting thing I ran into though....behind the plastic junction on the firewall, there was only about 1" of the hight pressure fuel line, and then it clamped and went down to a plastic line that was about the same diameter as the inside of the fuel line...which ran all the way back to the fuel filter where it had the same scenario (1 inch of the normal fuel line ran directly into the plastic line). Is this normal? I got rid of all that and just ran the bmw 8mm injector line that I used in the engine compartment. It is the same deal on the return line to the tank. I wanted to switch it all out too, but didn't have enought line.

On the Vanagon engines all injectors fire simultaneously. Swapping their positions means nothing.
