I have a Fiamma rack. Have had it for ~8 years. It clamps to the top and bottom of the back door and is very firm. It does not move at all, even on some pretty rough 4x4 roads. I have a syncro.

I bought it from Steve Lashley at eurocampers.com. You can see a straight shot at http://secure.mycart.net/catalogs/catalog.asp?prodid=4757794&showprevnext=1 and see the black clamps at the bottom that clamp under the bottom lip of the door.
