That's not bad advice but I've gone the crate route with him at home and he broke of one of the bars and a tooth in the process of trying to get out. That in itself proves your point I guess. I just need to keep him off my lap while we are moving - Maybe a harness and a doggy seat belt would do the job. He's a good dog he just wasn't treated very well by his PO's - so he is very insecure, needy, and stricken by separation anxiety. It has been better since we got the Yorkie - but she wasn't very wanted by her PO either. It amazes me what people will do to animals - I don't think they realize it's such a big responsibility. Thanks for the advice Chris. You are probably right.
