Mike, The Euro lights have a different beam pattern that puts more light where you need it. I have yet to convert our Westy Syncro to them but am planning on doing so. I have converted my 1990 Audi Quattro and it makes a big difference. You can swap higher wattage bulbs into U.S. spec lights and gain little, switching to Euro lenses is where the real improvements occur. Plus once you have done that you will have a much wider choice of bulbs available.
