I have that exact same (ebay) hitch installed on my van. Just last week I welded a 1.25" box receiver on top of the tongue, and then braced it for additional rigidity. Now I can use my nifty (ebay) 1.25" hitch-mounted swing-away four bike rack. I'll use your wiring recommendations to complete the install for future towing needs. Thanks!
