Vanagon folks know, but may not always remember, to use phosphate-free, aluminum compatible coolant (orange/environmental coolants are OK, correct?) with distilled water to be safe, etc. in their vanagons..... However, in 2006, when I go to Adv. Auto. I have 2 choices: (1) store brand that contains water, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, sodeium 2-ethyl hexabiate, and sodium neodecanoate or (2) prestone brand that contains ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, water, and proprietary corrision inhibitors (states this product exceeds all ASTM and ASE standards for corrosion protection)..... So....can I use this FLAPS stuff or what? Anything else I should consider...... Larry Georgia |
