Hey Volks, I just replaced my rather forgiving Temp2 sensor on my 85...I have yet to see if it cures my problem, but it won't take long for me to figure it out... The symptom was hot start, much crank, then finally catch after turning over like 15 times or so...when cold it started up just fine...The biggest thing that pushed me over the edge was being at the airport this AM and it not wanting to start until I hit the accelerator a bit (to give it some "air"...) In any case, old one came out real easy, clip came out with small screwdriver, then 19 mm wrench and a small amount of coolant... I'll post my results...good or bad... -- Dave - KC9FYM http://fjazzbass.blogspot.com |
