I replaced the radiator in my '84 before leaving Hawaii and before I even knew there WAS a list. That was about 7 years ago but, as I recall, I roughly measured the height of the radiator and figured I'd have to be high enough for the thing to clear when coming out the bottom. Then, I believe I used a 4X4 length of wood to act as a spacer between the jack and the van to achieve that height.

Anyway, the first attempt did the trick.
