Subject: How to install Sirius antenna?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="ISO-8859-1"

Has anyone on the list installed Sirius satellite radio in a Vanagon? The installation instructions that came with my radio are obviously aimed at a regular car. It says to mount the antenna on the back of the roof, and pass the cord through the trunk into the body of the vehicle, up to the front, where the radio is mounted. They seem to think the positioning of this in the rear is really key to having it work right. But popping the top would interfere with that careful placement, so I¹m wondering if anyone has tried putting the antenna for a satellite radio on the front of the pop top?
