Jeff,

I can't comment to your specific need on this but I can sympathize, our dog drives us nuts when she rides in our Westy. She is not happy unless she can look out the windows and the only way she can do this is if she stands on all four legs or sits up front which is not allowed. We would put her behind the rear seat but that is where the camping gear rides and she is too big(she's a Great dane) to share the space. She will stand and lean against the sliding door panting for the entire(short) trip or until she is totally exhausted(long trips). We have decided that she can only come on short trips as long ones are too hard on her. We tried medication but it had no affect and there is no way that she would use a crate even if we could fit one into the van.

Good luck on your dog barrier, it should work well.
