I called West Coast Core (as I suggested earlier) - And they let me in on the "secret" on installing this.

Your stock manifold runners have a welded webbing that hold them apart from each other.

You must cut the webbing.

Then the clamps will make up for pipe size differences.

As I think I said in a previous post, the trick to a good carb conversion is getting the real VW carb air intake manifold. My set up with a Weber DFEV carb works nearly perfectly! m
