Subject:   silver Tri-Star in Long Beach, CA today

Hey all-

I never bother to post these, especially since southern California is full of Vanagons. There's 3 on my street of about 20 houses (only one is mine). Anyway, today in the Home Depot parking lot off Cherry in Long Beach, I saw the most beautiful silver doka syncro, with red/blue "tristar" logo on the front. It was immaculate, even had beautiful gas cans in the back. Is this a listee? One of the most attractive vehicles I've ever seen in my life.

Actually, some guy came up to me in the parking lot and commented on my 87 Westy... its a little unusual since like I said down there they are a dime a dozen. People don't wave etc like they do in other areas... but this guy was commenting on it, and then said "did you see the doka up there?". I would have missed it otherwise. So if the owner is reading, you had at least 2 admirers this evening.
