Your brass radiater sounds in good condition.At least before you tore it
apart.(I do this often to perfectly fine parts,too).One final check for
soundness is the "fingernail test" .Take a fingernail and try to puncture
from the outside. A find looking radiator can have salt caused corosion.So
bad,that you can push a fingernail right through the little tube.Try
several places.Particulairly, up top.The sale dosent wash off ,up
there.Roger
