Hi Jim and all:

Yes standard home garage are not designed for a westy and this has been a problem for many westy owners....in the past I have made custom skylights for that problem by lowering the overall height by 1/2" gust enough to clear The garage opening if interested do your calculations and let me know If I can help.

Peace

All this talk about skylights has me thinking about one again. But I've seen several references to the fact that if I install a skylight, I can no longer park in a standard home garage.

Is that true for any or all skylights?

Thanks,

Jim
