As far as I know, there is only one aftermarket manufacturer of Vanagon gas tanks, so likely it will be the same.

We do ship to PO boxes, but the gas tanks are just a tad over the post office's maximum size, so they can't go to a PO box; this forces us to use UPS or FedEx (who cannot ship to a PO box). We do require that your FIRST order be shipped to an address that is tied to the credit card you are using (whether that be a physical address, or in the case of a slightly smaller item, a PO box if you prefer). However it is easy to tie your physical address to your credit card. With the exception of debit cards (which can vary in policy), all you have to do is call your credit card issuer (at the number on the back of the card) and ask them to add that address as a "secondary" or "shipping" address. That can be your home address, your work address, your mechanic's address, or wherever you want; you can remove the address by simply calling them again. Then, when we charge your order, we get an approval code that indicates that the address is legitimately tied to you. (It does not actually show the address; just that it is legitimate.) This is done for your protection, to ensure that nobody has hacked or stolen your credit card number and is using it to mail-order merchandise for themselves. Any retailer who does not take this security precaution (which MasterCard and Visa strongly recommend) is not doing you any favors, as they are not protecting you from credit card fraud. After your first order, we consider you an established customer and do not insist on this validation. - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW
