If you drove from VA to northern BC you can certainly drive from VA
to Newfoundland/Labrador!

Note, Malcolm posted links some of which describe the road, but make
sure you have recent information as the road is being improved all
the time.


...even some Newfoundland people still think the road requires a
great big 4x4 in order to get through...perhaps a few years ago it
was necessary but not anymore.  We saw many small cars, even Honda's
and Toyota's on the road....
