heh I keep hearing people talk about this but the latest
Prestone® 50/50 Ready-to-Use Extended Life
 is phosphate, borate, slicate free, mix with anything
can be bought anywhere and is green ...
and if you phone the hotline they claim (G11) compadibility
and over on the samba where this is beat to death there are many users
apprently w/o leaking head gaskets on the Prestone extended life treatment
there are also various other manufactuers basf, peak that make green
phospate free coolant so it may not be the kiss of death
if the owner made the concious decision to use a 'green' coolant based on
some of his own r&d
