Here's a thought.  See if you can just get the lenses (since it's pretty much the only difference).  The lenses are not only cheaper to buy I would imagine, but also easier to ship (eg from Germany, UK, etc)

  Then with a little bit of surgery and some silicon, you'll be driving with better lighting at a fraction of the cost.

I just checked with Camelback VW/Suburu in Phoenix (800-876-5199) and
these are available at $156.08/ea. They are not a stock item so they do
have to order them in, but they are a currently available part.
