Geez, I thought Splittie Bus Owners were tightwads <grin>. Now we want separate lenses?

The Lens and Reflector are only available as a single assembled piece by Hella. They were never offered as separate pieces for a few reasons. Assembly production cost is one. Another is in some instances of E-Code Lights for various vehicles, the Reflector is differently polished than those used with SAE Beam Lenses, probably due to what instensity is approved for that market intended. I've compared the polish on E-Codes and SAE units and there are differences - which is probably why the SAE units suck to begin with. It's like frosting a turd. -- Jim Thompson 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com "A Patch Job Is Like Stopping The Clock To Save Time" ********************************** On 8/29/06, Mike Rouby <mikerouby@yahoo.com> wrote: > > Here's a thought.
