We have an 86 Westy Weekender that had AC (still has some stuff like compressor, some fan, wiring) and is missing the thing (evaporator?) that took up the overhead cabinet space, and some hoses. We have been thinking of restoring the AC. In the swap-Synchro engine tranny running gear for the 2WD thread, someone mentioned a "Behr" air conditioner? Is this a complete aftermarket system or would I swap out various components. I googled it but figured I'd ask here before spending hours on the web. So anyone have any experience putting Behr stuff into their V-gon? What do I do/where do I start? Thanks Mark & Jennifer 86 Westy Weekender "Monty" |
