Charles,

My 85 GL with the 1.9L WBX used to do that. My 88 GL does it now.. When cold it blinks then goes off. When hot it seems as if it wants to blink forever. I discovered that if a hot start, to simply turn on the ignition, count to 20 or so, then start the engine. Light goes out every time ..... and least on my machines. Can't speak to the problem of others.

Regards,

John Rodgers 88 GL Driver
