Subject: air intake boot repair
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Howdy,

I have made a few attempts at repairing my Air Intake Elbow Boot (rubber pipe between air flow meter and throttle body, s shaped) once with "goop" and recently with "seal all". These substances haven't stuck as well as I would like, and I plan to remove all of the stuff, clean the boot thoroughly and then do the job again with a better substance.

My question for the list is what is the best stuff to use for this? It has to be adherant, flexible, heat resistant and stay that way for a long time.

Of course if anyone has a great boot laying around then let me know what you want for it and I will go that route..

Thanks,

Jonathan Poole '82 ac westy
