 RE: I assume -- maybe wrongly -- if VW allows their logo onto a product
they approve of the quality.
Some would say the same about Mercedes but look where Mercedes comes in on
the JD Powers list for "First Year Owners Satisfaction", nearly last.  Not
VW but falls under that "Made in Germany" umbrella that used to mean
"quality" in peoples minds.  Times are changing.....
