Hi Richard.

Interesting about the Porsche design. Seems I might be on the right track in some ways, i.e. not "containing" heat in heat exchangers (as in stock 2L design). Thinking about it more, heat generated at exhaust pipes probably doesn't contribute nearly as much to overall engine temps as I had thought. But every little bit counts. And yes, in my case the seal on perimeter of engine isn't in great shape. And as you say, it should be. Something I've become aware of through the archives.
